Ahoy There!

Captain Branden has been aboard Cadence for 2 years now. Starting off as the chef/deckhand for a couple trips out in the San Juan and Gulf Islands in the Pacific Northwest. He learned his way around Cadence and fell in love with the yacht, and the family. Growing up in Tampa, Florida, Branden has always been in, around, and on the water. He first began his boating career on fishing charters around Tampa. Most recently before Cadence, he worked as the chef aboard Hopscotch, a 50’ sailboat that runs charters around Southeast Alaska, and the San Juan Islands. He currently holds a USCG 200 ton masters license along with first aid and safety qualifications.

Family Matters!

Chef Clarissa is a special addition to Cadence. While Branden may be a good cook, Clarissa is a kitchen magician! What makes things even better is that Clarissa and Branden are brother and sister, so they make a great team. Clarissa went to culinary school in Miami and Providence RI before settling down in Boston as a pastry chef. While classical training is great, much of Clarissa’s kitchen prowess was passed down from her grandmother, who always had something cooking. As an added bonus, much of the produce on board is actually grown on Grown Up Farm, Clarissa and her husband’s farm in western Massachusetts. #FarmToBoat life!
